At Immanuel Meal Prep, food is more than just a meal, it’s nourishment, comfort, and love. That belief is at the heart of every dish Chef Yonayka Bryant Green creates.

Born and raised in Colón, Panama, Chef Yonayka discovered her passion for cooking at just nine years old while living in a boarding school run by nuns. In 2006, she immigrated to the United States to become a chef. After years of working in restaurants across New York and mastering every part of the industry, she opened Immanuel Restaurant in Brooklyn in 2018, a place where soul food, Panamanian, and Caribbean flavors come together in a way that feels both comforting and unforgettable.


Today, Chef Yonayka has created Immanuel Meal Prep to bring that same homemade quality to busy people who rarely have time to sit down and enjoy a truly heartwarming meal. Instead of relying on cheap takeout or heavily processed food, she believes people deserve meals made with real care and real ingredients.


That’s why, at Immanuel Meal Prep, every sauce is made from scratch, meats are marinated for days, and only high-quality ingredients are used, including olive oil instead of seed oils and traditional seasonings instead of store-bought alternatives.
